LOGOS Cancelled

Due to a drop in participation from children and volunteers, the LOGOS program has been cancelled for the 2010/2011 year. Please check back to this site for any updates.

St. Patrick's Night - Grand Finale!!

Tonight we all enjoyed our final night of LOGOS for the year! We appreciate everyone who was able to attend our final dinner. The children received awards, and we had a volunteer recognition slide show. Thank you to everyone who participated in our LOGOS program this year, and thank you to all or our volunteers who helped make our program possible!

Sports Night!

Tonight we all had a ball at Sports Night! The children made easter baskets and 'sock bunnies' in recreation, practiced easter music in worship skills, and enjoyed bible study. At family time, we all enjoyed corn dogs, tater tots, and green peas, followed by a delicious dessert. Our game tonight was led by our stand-in dinner dean, Linda Dickerson! We all had a great time competing in the LOGOS Cup Stomp Olympics!!

All volunteers and parents are invited to join us for dinner next week for our Grand Finale!! Our theme will be St. Patrick's Night! Please RSVP to Traci McCoy by Friday, if you plan to attend the dinner. We will enjoy dinner, awards, and a slide show!

Crazy Hat Night!

Tonight we celebrated Crazy Hat Night at LOGOS!! There were so many wonderful, crazy hats! The children enjoyed recreation, worship skills, and bible study. Then we all enjoyed green eggs and ham, to celebrate the greatest of crazy hat wearers, Dr. Seuss.

Thanks to everyone who helped with LOGOS tonight. Remember that our grand finale is in 2 weeks on St. Patrick's Night, March 17th. All parents and volunteers are invited to join us for dinner at 6pm for the finale. Please RSVP to Traci McCoy by Friday, March 12th, if you plan to attend the grande finale dinner festivities. Plaid Night

Tonight we enjoyed Plaid Night at LOGOS! The kids enjoyed some fun games in Recreation, and continued to work on Easter music in Worship Skills. After bible study, we all enjoyed a delicious meal of spaghetti with meatballs, salad, bread and cake! After dinner we had fun with ice cubes!!

Mardi Gras Night

Tonight we enjoyed 'Fat Wednesday' at Mardi Gras Night! There were beads and masks and a great time for all! We also enjoyed the company of the children's school teachers. We appreciate all of those who were able to make it tonight. Thanks also to everyone who helped at LOGOS tonight. Join us next week for Plaid Night!

Snowed Out!

Unfortunately, the last two weeks of LOGOS have been snowed out! Hopefully we can get together again on Wednesday, February 17th for Mardi Gras Night! The Teachers/Coaches are invited to join us for dinner at 6pm. Please RSVP to Traci McCoy at tracimccoy@comcast.net.

Backwards Night!

Tonight was Backwards Night at LOGOS!! Fun very was it!! The children enjoyed making gifts for the teachers coming next week. They also enjoyed worship skills and bible study. Family time included hamburgers, french fries, corn and salad. Dessert was cupcakes. We then enjoyed a hilarious backwards relay, and finished with our new closing song.

Breakfast Club

Tonight we enjoyed one of our favorite themes with Pajama Night! Everyone was warm and cozy in their pj's! The children in all age groups put together care packages to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake. Dinner tonight was breakfast. We enjoyed french toast, sausage links, and fruit. Thanks to everyone who helped with LOGOS tonight and a special thanks to everyone who brought in items for our care packages.

Welcome Back Party!

Tonight we enjoyed our first night back for the spring semester with our Welcome Back Party! We enjoyed some fun games in recreation and some great music in worship skills. After bible study, we enjoyed a delicious meal of chicken tenders, buttered noodles, green beans and salad. After dessert, we enjoyed a fun game and began learning our new closing song.
